Ican Web Design Terms and Conditions

1.  Contract- receipt of a £50 deposit and a signed copy of this document from the client or an email stating that the client has read and understood the terms and conditions shall be deemed a contractual agreement between the client and Ican Web Design. Ican Web Design cannot always guarantee to start work on a site immediately but will provide a date when the work can commence. On completion of the work we will invoice the client for the balance of the fee due, payment will be due within 7 days of the invoice being issued.

2. Provision of materials- You must ensure that we receive any materials including but not limited to copy, photographs or graphics to be used in the website by the time we receive the deposit. Any delay due to Ican Web design not receiving the above materials is the responsibility of the client and we reserve the right to levy a 10% surcharge if work is delayed for this reason.

3. Intellectual Copyright-Remains the property of Ican Web Design until payment of the final invoice is received at which point the Copyright will be transferred to the Client.

4. Copyright of content supplied by the client- It is the clients responsibility to ensure that any material submitted to Ican Web Design for the purpose of web design does not infringe any copyright.

5. Amendments to the website-Ican Web Design will make any amendments to the website requested for 7 days after the date of the invoice to a maximum of 3 hours work.

6. Cancellation- If the Client is not satisfied with the web site, the Client has the right to cancel within 7 days of the date of the invoice. The Client will remain liable for any costs which have been incurred by Ican Web Design in the creation of the site including but not limited to name registration, Hosting and the purchasing of stock images for the website. The website will be removed.

7. Quotations- The price quoted to the Client is for the work agreed on the quotation only. Should the client require further work on the website once the work has commenced, further charges may be incurred.

8. Future Support- Your work will be handed over to you as a completed work. Ican Web Design are not responsible for future support or work on the site unless support has been purchased for an agreed fee.

9. Late Payment- We reserve the right to remove a website if payment is not forthcoming, and will not be uploaded again until the fee is paid in full. In addition, a 10% late payment fee will be levied.

10.  Compliance with Ecommerce, Accessibility or Other Regulations- We design websites according to Clients specifications. It is the Clients responsibility to ensure that the website and its content comply with current online training laws and regulations.

11. Indemnification-Client agrees to indemnify and hold Ican Web design harmless from all and any demands, liabilities, costs losses and claims that may arise from services sold by the client or third parties.

12.  We reserve the right to refuse to construct a website which we may judge as racist, sexist, homophobic or violent.
